About

We all want vibrant faith—the kind that makes our Christian walk exciting, effective, and close to God, like Moses who talked with Him as a friend. The kind that moves mountains (Mark 11:23) and reflects Jesus’ answer to John the Baptist’s question:

Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Matthew 11:4–6 (KJV)

What Is Accessible Faith?

The desire for vibrant faith is already in you—this site makes it accessible. I’m here to break down lofty theology into practical, actionable steps for daily living. This is Applied Bible Study: where theology meets real life.

What You’ll Find Here

My focus is God’s Word—through fundamental doctrines, practical faith, discipleship, and small-group ministry. The Digital Study Bible is the heart of this site, with five core components:

  • Translate Greek with Me (TBWM): Interactive dives into New Testament Greek, verse by verse.
    • Translate the Bible With Me is a guided practice in reading extended portions of the New Testament in Greek, focused on structure, judgment, and careful attention to the text.
    • TBWM approaches Greek grammar as a tool for seeing how meaning is shaped, not as an end in itself—prioritizing structure and discourse over isolated rules or glosses.
    • Learn more here: What TBWM is / is not →
  • Applied Bible Studies: Courses guiding you through books or theological topics.
  • Field Notes: My running thoughts, inspired by Jonathan Edwards’ Miscellanies, on Scripture and theology.
  • Field Guides: Quick summaries of topics like Baptism in the Holy Spirit, with key verses.
  • My Study Bible: Full translations, Greek breakdowns, and Field Notes woven into a personal commentary.

Why I Built This

My name is Thomas Vidal. I maintain AccessibleFaith.

Trained as a lawyer with a heart for teaching, I live by Matthew 10:8: “Freely ye have received, freely give.” The Holy Spirit is a well for us and a river for others—I share what’s been given to me to grow our community’s faith. This site keeps my nose in the Word, collecting my notes, translations, and reflections in one place. Like Jonathan Edwards, whose Miscellanies inspired my Field Notes, I’m building a resource for anyone hungry to know God deeper. Read my full commitmentto faith →
