Jesus revealed in 3 John

Jesus is revealed in many ways in 3 John. But I think the most meaningful aspect is that Gaius’s love for God has blossomed in such a way that He is able to take care of his brethren and strangers alike. That is exactly what Jesus taught us and very much contrary to the example of the Pharisees. Jesus reduced the ten commandments to two — and Gaius was living them both. It’s hard to un-see Gaius’ Christlikeness once you see it!
