What does it mean to walk in the truth?

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brothers came and testified to the truth you hold, just as you walk in the truth. - III John 3

To walk in the truth is to keep the commandments of God (Deut 5:33, 8:6, Ps 86:11)

Love is walking after His commandments (2 Jn 6).

Walking in the Spirit is walking in the truth (Gal 5:25, Ro 8:1). Also, walking in the Spirit will protect us in shunning the lusts of the flesh (Gal. 5:16). Cf. Ezek 36:27.

Walking by faith is walking in the truth (2 Cor. 5:7.)

Walking in truth is walking in wisdom. (Pr. 28:26.)

The blessing comes from walking in the truth (Ps 119:1, 128:1).

Gaius was praised because he walked in the truth (3 Jn 3-4)!
