This is God’s expectation of us. The Word tells us that It is required in stewards that they be found faithful. (1 Cor. 4:2.)
The issue of fidelity — both the presence and lack of it — throughout the whole Bible. Fidelity is highly praised by God. I suppose both examples of great falls — Satan in the heavenly realm, and Adam on earth — were caused by infidelity.
Great benefits come with fidelity, too! The Lord preserves the faithful; a faithful man shall abound with blessings; a faithful man will get promoted; the faithful will receive a crown of life.
